Meet furry friends at our Pet Centre Cuddle Club

Children from Somerset can get up close to some furry friends and some slimy ones too during our Pet Centre’s Cuddle Club on Saturday, April 15 from 10am until 4pm.

It’s really important for children to be confident around different animals so we’ve launched our Cuddle Club so little ones can meet a variety of different animals and find out all about them.

We’ll have rabbits, ferrets, snails and more for children to meet and hold as well as a variety of activities, including colouring, a tombola and a mini pet-themed treasure trail.

The tombola will cost £1 per strip or three strips for £2 with all proceeds going to the Marine Conservation Society. You can purchase tickets and try your luck on the tombola on the day and the prizes will include dog and cat treats, a month’s supply of James Wellbeloved dog or cat food, sweets, chocolate, pet blankets and small animal treats.

Children will also be able to take part in a mini pet-themed treasure trail. They can pick up a treasure trail form and hunt around the Pet Centre for six different animal pictures. Once each one is found and they have filled in their form they can hand it in to the till area to receive a bag of sweets.

We hope lots of you bring your little ones along for a fun-filled day. It’s a great opportunity for them to meet some animals they might otherwise not normally come into contact with and take part in fun activities.
